Bryan Gee has been at the forefront of dance music since the beginning and will always be a crucial influence in the evolution of global drum n bass. From being part ...of the elite group of pioneering DJ's that grew onwards from the Acid House era of the late 80's to first releasing Roni Size's, Krust, DJ Die, Patife & DJ Marky's music, Bryan Gee has always been at the cutting edge. Working with music since he was 13, influences run deep from jazz, soul, funk, reggae, house & hip-hop. By the early 90's, with a pirate radio station already catching buzz and a label in creation with Jumpin' Jack Frost, London started to emerge with a totally new sound, a totally different vibe...a movement Bryan helped create & form. This was the foundation of Drum & Bass as we know it presently. Today he remains equally committed to pushing Drum & Bass forward both as a label head, producer, DJ and promoter. In between a hectic international DJ career, managing V Recordings and running Movement, you can catch Bryan mixing the freshest dubplates the game has to offer flawlessly. In essence Bryan Gee's musical history reflects and is the history of Drum n Bass: a unique, urban London sound influenced by a mix of musical genres that we have all grown to love.
